Job summary

Randstad is seeking a professional driver for a permanent full-time role in Rockhampton, QLD. You will deliver goods safely across the region, with local runs to Emerald, Clermont, Dysart and surrounding areas, using a mix of container trucks and tautliners.

The role includes forklift tasks, a minimum 9-hour shift with overtime opportunities, and a strong emphasis on safety. A valid HC license is essential and LF is preferred; local knowledge of Rockhampton is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region.

• Assist with forklift tasks as needed and handle manual labour.
• Pass pre-employment checks and maintain safe driving standards.

A supportive and professional work environment. Your Role: You'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Rockhampton region. Your daily run will include deliveries locally as well as Emerald, Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount, Gladstone.

You will be working for a National Logistics company, well respected and recognised throughout Australia. The daily shift runs from 9 hours at a minimum, with opportunities for overtime. You'll be driving a variety of vehicles, including container trucks (end and side doors) and tautliners (curtain sides).

A portion of the job involves manual labour -forklift work, so a good level of physical fitness is essential and current LF license is heavily preferred . Key Requirements: A valid Heavy Combination (HC) license.

Preferred LF license Ability to learn and use data/tablet systems for deliveries. Good physical fitness.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and a physical assessment. Previous experience with side loaders is highly regarded. Local knowledge of the Rockhampton region and surrounding areas is preferred.
