Job summary

The Pentarch Group is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our Narrogin hay processing site in Western Australia. You will lead the production team, drive targets, and ensure safety, quality and cost objectives are met.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will optimise plant operations, coordinate maintenance and resources, and contribute to continuous improvement across operations. This is a permanent, full-time role based at Narrogin.

Qualifications

• Substantial track record of production leadership within agribusiness or manufacturing.
• Strong organisational and people management skills with a proven ability to lead a team.
• Understanding of hay or straw production is advantageous.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Certificate IV in Agriculture or similar is desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to drive a culture of development and align initiatives with site objectives.
• Address performance and disciplinary matters, and support employment/industrial relations activities.
• Lead production to meet targets and implement the site operational plan demanding efficiency and quality.
• Oversee preventative maintenance to align with production plans and minimize downtime.
• Drive safety culture and ensure WHS compliance and risk controls.
• Collate production data (labour, overtime, costs) and review monthly P&L for operations.
