Job summary

BUMA Australia is seeking experienced Production Operators to join our Blackwater Mine team on a 7/7 roster with day-night rotation, permanent, full-time. Our fleet includes Komatsu 930-E and CAT 789C haul trucks with Hitachi excavators.

We offer camp accommodation or LAFHA, annualised weekly pay, a bus from Rockhampton or Emerald, and a competitive EA with annual increases. All final applicants will undergo police checks; BUMA emphasizes safety, training and development, inviting reliable

Qualifications

• Valid ST11.
• Coal Board Medical dated within the last 5 years (preferred).
• Transcripts showing a minimum of 12 months experience as a Dump Truck Operator.
• Identify and promote safe work practices, ensuring precautions to reduce risk to people, equipment and environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 789C and Komatsu 930-E haul trucks.
• Work a 7/7 roster with day-night rotation.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards at all times.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance and reporting of faults.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Production Operators to join our high-performing team at Blackwater Mine on a 7/7 roster, day-night rotation. Our fleet at Blackwater comprises of a combination of Komatsu 930-E and Caterpillar 789C haul trucks with Hitachi EX8000, Caterpillar 6060 and Hitachi EX3600 excavators.

Key Requirements

• Valid ST11
• Coal Board Medical dated within the last 5 years (preferred)
• Transcripts demonstrating a minimum of 12 months experience as a Dump Truck Operator
• Identify and promote safe work practice, ensuring appropriate precautions are taken to reduce risk to both people, equipment and the environment.
