Job summary

BUMA Australia is seeking an Experienced Production Operator to join the Goonyella team in Queensland. The role involves operating heavy mining equipment across a 7/7 roster with 12hr20m shifts, supporting pre-strip operations and maintaining safety standards on site.

Ideal candidates have open cut coal mining experience, proven machinery operation, and a positive, proactive attitude. Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical are desirable.

About the Role:

We are seeking Experienced Production Operators to join our BUMA team at Goonyella. Our fleet comprises a combination of Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 793 trucks with Liebherr R9800 and Hitachi 5600 & 3600 excavators. • Komatsu 930E and Cat 793 Trucks
• CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers
• 16M or 24M Graders
• Liebherr 9800, Hitachi 5600 or Hitachi 3600 Excavators or equivalent

Goonyella

Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA's Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.

BUMA Australia provide labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
