Akubra seeks reliable Production Workers for its Kempsey, NSW facility. You will be hands-on in hat manufacturing, learning processes passed down through generations and contributing to various stages of production.

No experience is required as full training is provided. You will work onsite, join a team of skilled craftspeople, and help produce Akubra’s iconic Australian hats with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manufacturing and production tasks across the hat-making process.
• Follow established production processes, procedures and work instructions.
• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and correctly.
• Handle, prepare and work with materials used to manufacture Akubra hats.
• Contribute to different stages of the hat-making process.
• Check work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace.
• Comply with health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production team members.
