Job summary

Fonegalaxy is seeking a dedicated Hardware Technician at our Manly store to diagnose, repair and service laptops, tablets and phones, ensuring reliable performance and customer satisfaction while adhering to safety standards.

You will manage repair tools and parts inventory, perform post-repair tests, document work for warranty purposes, and advise customers on preventing future issues.

Minimum 1 year of hardware repair experience and Australian work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Hardware Technician or similar
• Experience with multiple brands is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems in laptops, tablets and phones.
• Maintain, adjust and repair hardware components across devices.
• Disassemble devices and inspect faults to determine root cause.
• Deploy and test new hardware to ensure smooth functionality.
• Install, upgrade and configure software to improve hardware performance.
• Document repair work and keep warranty records.
