Casphone in Mackay is seeking an experienced Hardware Technician for a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week). You will diagnose, repair and maintain computer systems, mobile devices and related hardware, delivering quality service at the point of need.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of relevant hardware experience and hold a Diploma or Degree in IT, CS, CE, Electronics, or a related field. The position offers salary between $80,000 and $85,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hardware support, diagnostics or repairs.
• A Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware faults
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining hardware and peripheral equipment
• Repairing and replacing faulty components
• Testing repaired devices to ensure correct operation
• Performing hardware upgrades and preventative maintenance
• Installing and configuring related software where required
• Providing technical assistance and advice to customers
• Maintaining accurate records of repairs and parts used
• Ensuring all technical work meets company quality and safety standards
