This hands-on role keeps you on the tools about 90% of the time, with 10% spent on scheduling, reporting, and team coordination. Lead by example to drive productivity, maintain quality and ensure safe, on-time delivery. Trade-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication is required; a Full NZ Driver Licence is

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication.
• Experience as Foreman, Supervisor, Leading Hand or Team Leader.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; strong QA mindset.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate daily workshop operations.
• Allocate work and manage production schedules.
• Hands-on fabrication and manufacturing duties.
• Monitor workflow to meet production targets.
• Interpret drawings and ensure quality checks.
• Train and mentor workshop staff; promote safety culture.
