Job summary

NW People is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our inventory and two-person team on-site. The role focuses on hands-on warehouse duties, stock control and ensuring timely order dispatch. You will own daily operations and partner with sales to balance stock availability.

The ideal candidate has warehouse leadership experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement. A forklift licence and familiarity with warehouse systems are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work on the warehouse floor.
• Forklift licence and knowledge of warehouse management systems highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).
• Own inventory management and stock accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment needs.
• Conduct stocktakes and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate two warehouse team members.
• Ensure orders are processed and dispatched on time.
• Collaborate with internal sales on stock availability.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organised warehouse.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Support team on the floor during busy periods.
