Job summary

Soak Bathhouse is seeking a hands-on Venue Manager for our Mermaid Beach location. You will own day-to-day operations, lead an established team, and drive guest experiences to deliver exceptional service.

You will manage performance, rostering and guest satisfaction, while collaborating with the broader Soak leadership team to grow the business. This role demands ownership, problem solving, and a passion for wellness and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Mermaid Beach team.
• Build a culture of accountability, positivity and exceptional hospitality.
• Set clear expectations and provide feedback, coaching and performance management.
• Recruit and onboard great people as the team develops.
• Create rosters aligned with labour budgets and peak periods.
• Be the first point of contact for day-to-day operational matters.
• Identify future leaders and support their development.
• Set the standard for guest welcome and care.
• Ensure high guest satisfaction and engage on the floor during busy periods.
• Take ownership of guest feedback and resolve issues.
• Drive venue performance across revenue, labour and guest satisfaction.
