Job summary

SOAK Bathhouse in Mermaid Beach is hiring a Massage Therapist to provide tailored treatments for guests seeking relaxation and wellbeing. The role welcomes specialists in pregnancy, deep tissue, or relaxation massage and requires passion for health and holistic self-care.

The contractor position offers shifts across early mornings to evenings, seven days a week, in a modern wellness environment. Applicants must have massage qualifications, current insurance, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Massage Therapy (domestic & international accepted).
• Current Massage Insurance, First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver massage treatments tailored to guests' needs.
• Welcome guests and ensure high levels of satisfaction with their wellness experience.
• Turn over massage linen and clean the treatment room between clients.
• Ensure massage facilities are clean, hygienic, safe and compliant at all times.
• Be flexible to work weekends, nights, school holidays and public holidays as required.

Massage Therapist

Job Description

We’re seeking a dedicated, client-focused, and highly skilled Massage Therapist to deliver outstanding treatments tailored to our guests’ needs. We welcome specialists in pregnancy, deep tissue, or relaxation massage.

• Flexible shifts available between 8 AM – 9 PM seven days a week
• Contractor position with an immediate start
• Work in a beautiful, modern, and supportive wellness environment

Your responsibilities include:

Providing massage treatments to bathhouse guests: relaxation, pregnancy & deep tissue.

Greeting guests and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained and that the guests’ expectations are exceeded for their wellness experience.

Turning over massage linen and cleaning the treatment room in between clients.

Ensuring the massage facilities are clean, hygienic, safe and compliant at all times.

Daily meeting with the Bathhouse Hosts to discuss feedback, daily schedule and new bathhouse initiatives.

As the suitable candidate you will posses:

Passion for the health and wellness industry.

Excellent massage and customer service skills.

Qualifications in Massage Therapy (domestic & international are acceptable).

A welcoming and calming personality. A positive, self-starter attitude with a drive to succeed and always perform to a high standard.

Immaculate grooming, presentation and hygiene standards.

Current Insurance, First Aid and CPR certification.

The ability to be flexible to work weekends, nights, school holidays and public holidays as required.
