Allwood Stairs on the Central Coast is offering a Carpentry Apprentice role to join our team. The program is hands-on, starting in the factory to learn materials, machining, assembly and finishing, with progression to on-site stair installation with our experienced crew.

Qualifications

• Must have genuine interest in carpentry and working with timber
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work (lifting, carrying, on-site)
• Reliable and punctual with a good attitude
• Willingness to learn and take instruction
• Basic knowledge of hand tools or willingness to learn quickly
• Driver licence required and ability to commute to factory and job sites
• Based on Central Coast or nearby for daily commute

Responsibilities

• Learn foundations in materials, machining, assembly and finishing in the factory
• Progressively spend time on site learning how to install timber stairs with experienced installers
