Job summary

Slattery and Acquroff Stairs NSW Pty Ltd in Penrith is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice to continue their Certificate III in Carpentry with our team. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, offering hands-on learning across manufacture, assembly and installation of our staircase products.

You will gain experience operating and maintaining machinery, including CNC sizing and processing centres for timber and composites, while developing practical trade skills

Qualifications

• Interest in timber and developing trade skills.
• Australian driver’s licence preferred.
• Construction Induction Card preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

About the role:

Our Sydney team is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice who is keen to continue their Certificate III in Carpentry with S&A Stairs.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll develop practical skills and knowledge across the manufacture, assembly and installation of our specialised stair products. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn the setup, operation and maintenance of a range of machinery, including computer numerical controlled (CNC) sizing and processing centres for timber and composites.

What you'll need:

• A genuine interest in working with timber and developing your trade skills
• An Australian driver's licence (preferred)
• A Construction Induction Card (preferred)
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
