Job summary

Red Wolf Construction is seeking a Site Lead / Leading Hand for commercial construction and remediation projects in the Sydney area. This is a hands-on role where you’ll run on-site activity, coordinate trades, manage materials, and keep projects moving while working closely with the Director and project team.

The role suits a trade-qualified carpenter or capable all-rounder who wants greater site responsibility rather than a pure management position.

Qualifications

Trade background, ideally carpentry qualified.
Willingness to step up from the tools into greater site responsibility.
Ability to coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades with safety focus.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate day-to-day site activities.
Coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades.
Keep projects moving in accordance with programme requirements.
Manage materials, deliveries and site logistics.
Be hands-on with carpentry, trade assistance and general site works when required.
Assist with inductions, SWMS, site safety and compliance.
Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality standards.
Identify and resolve site issues before they impact programme.
Maintain clean, safe and organised sites.
Communicate professionally with subcontractors, clients and stakeholders.
Work closely with the Director and project team on project delivery.
