Job summary

Clearview Projects Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to run day-to-day site activities for residential and commercial projects in Sydney. You will supervise trades, read drawings, manage toolbox talks, SWMS, permits and site rules, and support the Site Manager with progress and resourcing.

A hands-on leader with strong WHS knowledge is essential. This role offers a competitive package and growth opportunities toward Site Supervisor, with a hands-on, collaborative team environment on

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in construction, including time leading a crew.
• Trade background preferred (carpentry, formwork, bricklaying or similar).
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements and quality standards.
• Confident reading plans and setting out.
• Organised, reliable and a clear communicator with trades and management.
• Practical problem solver who takes ownership of the site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate trades and labourers on site.
• Set out works and read architectural and structural drawings.
• Run daily toolbox talks and make sure SWMS, permits and site rules are followed.
• Manage materials, deliveries and site housekeeping.
• Complete ITPs and quality checks, and help close out defects.
• Keep the Site Manager and Project Manager across progress, issues and resourcing.
• Get hands-on with the work when needed.
