Job summary

Hyne Pallets at our Melbourne site is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day performance across safety, production, people, customers and commercial outcomes. You’ll own production planning, drive improvements and maintain high customer service while building a strong safety culture on the floor.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an Operations Manager, Production Manager, Site Manager or similar.
• Leadership experience within manufacturing, production or a hands‑on industrial environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing supervisors and production teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety management in an operational environment.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling and workflow management.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of operational costs and performance.
• Experience in service delivery, planning and customer relationships.
• Strong organisation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, transport coordination or a related operational field.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety‑first culture across the site.
• Lead, coach and develop supervisors and production teams.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, workflow and site resources.
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency and operational performance.
