Job summary

Powerdata Group is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to support the implementation of Microsoft security controls across Windows endpoints and Microsoft 365 environments. You will gain hands-on experience with Defender, Intune, Entra ID, and security hardening under mentorship.

This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate with exposure to Microsoft security technologies and a desire to implement enterprise security controls. Opportunity for ongoing employment may arise.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft security technologies and practical experience preferred.
• Candidate should be studying or recently graduated in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Microsoft Defender security recommendations and ASR rule testing.
• Configure and test Intune policies and Windows security baselines.
• Support LDAP Signing, NTLM reduction, SMB signing and MFA implementation.
• Review vulnerability reports and aid remediation and patching.
• Create implementation guides and document testing procedures for audits.
