Job summary

Austcorp Executive Recruitment PTY Ltd is seeking a hands-on Product Assembly/Heavy Engineering All-Rounder for a busy manufacturing site in Wacol, Brisbane. You will assemble earthmoving attachments from fabricated components, read engineering drawings, and prepare parts for welding.

The role requires MIG welding, hydraulic assembly, paint prep and QA checks while meeting production KPIs. A mechanically minded individual who can work independently or with the team will thrive in this growing

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Welding/fabrication experience, especially MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into completed earthmoving attachments.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Prepare components for welding and fabricate profile components using MIG welding.
• Perform basic hydraulic assembly and installation.
• Prepare, prime and paint fabricated components; conduct QA checks.
