Job summary

Keystone People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client in Western Australia for an Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team in Perth. This hands‑on technical leadership role oversees mechanical, electronic, firmware and test engineering, driving architecture and delivery while collaborating with Product Management on strategy.

The role requires leading a team through full product development, from concept to production, staying close to the work to guide design reviews

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Strong track record in R&D, product development and hardware engineering leadership; software or robotics exposure is a plus.
Proven experience taking a technically complex product from concept through to launch.
Direct experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electronic, firmware, test).
Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team through the full product development lifecycle, concept through to production
Own architecture decisions, design reviews and technical direction
Manage engineering budget and resourcing
Partner with Product Management, Quality and Operations to align engineering delivery with business goals
Navigate stakeholder relationships and resolve competing priorities across a small, fast‑moving team
