Talenza in Brisbane is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of six developers, balancing people leadership with hands-on coding and shaping technical direction across frontend and backend systems.
You will own day-to-day engineering decisions, technical reviews, work allocation, and delivery planning while driving QA processes, CI/CD practices, and engineering standards in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience leading software engineering teams (Engineering Manager/Tech Lead/Development Manager).
- Strong hands-on Python development experience (FastAPI or Django preferred).
- Experience with React and TypeScript to guide frontend decisions.
- Extensive Azure cloud experience (APIs, integrations, infrastructure).
- Solid knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and engineering best practices.
