Job summary

Sulzer in Brendale, Australia, is seeking a Trade Assistant to support our service centre team. You will assist with assembling LV, MV and HV electrical rotating machinery, move parts, and help keep the workshop organized and safe.

Responsibilities

• Assemble LV, MV & HV electrical rotating machinery
• General assistance in the workshop as designated by the Supervisor or Works Manager
• Cleaning of Workshop, and Offices where required
• Painting of motors, equipment and floors
• Follow safety and quality standards
• Assist in troubleshooting and basic maintenance
• Help clean and paint various mechanical or electromechanical assemblies including: shafts, gears, seals, impellers, mechanical switches, brakes, clutches, clutch rotors, fans, end shields, bearing fit
