Job summary

Anything Environmental is seeking a reliable, hands-on Driver / Forklift Operator / Hand Sorter for our Proserpine and Cannonvale depots in Queensland. This casual/part-time role supports our local recycling efforts, counts containers, processes refunds, and provides friendly service to customers.

You will operate a forklift as required, drive a manual truck for local collections, keep a clean and safe work area, and assist with depot operations.

Qualifications

• Dependable and safety-conscious with excellent attendance.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail for counting/recording containers.
• Positive attitude with good customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling.
• Willing to follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count and process eligible drink containers.
• Record container counts and customer refunds accurately.
• Provide friendly customer service to depot customers.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Drive a manual truck to collect containers from local businesses.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Assist with general depot operations as needed.
• Work every second Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
