Job summary

Dunn & Watson Pty Ltd, a proudly Australian-owned manufacturer, seeks a motivated CAD Designer to join our expanding product family. You’ll design, refine, and iterate parts from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability and high quality.

The role requires hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 or similar), a good grasp of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work both independently and with teams across production and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAD design and drafting for manufactured products.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and sheet metal is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and technical drawings for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with production and development teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Refine designs to improve function, efficiency and quality.
• Support documentation, specifications and design updates.
• Assist with transitioning designs from concept to production.
• Contribute to new product lines and continuous improvement.
