Job summary

Silentium Defence Pty is seeking a CAD Technician to join the Hardware Team in Australia. You will turn CAD models into manufacturable parts, create and manage drawings, assemblies, and technical data while supporting prototypes and field demonstrations.

You'll work with SolidWorks or Fusion 360 and collaborate with engineers, suppliers and technicians to ensure accurate drawings, BOMs and documentation throughout product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Experience creating professional engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Strong CAD capability and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create or update a complex 3D assembly.
• Produce detailed drawings for fabrication suppliers.
• Update a Bill of Materials after design changes.
• Work with engineers to develop new mechanical components.
• Review manufacturing feedback and update designs.
• Manage drawing revisions and engineering data.
