Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mathematics and science is required.
• Genuine interest in the trades and willingness to learn boilermaking and welding.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in an industrial setting.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for boilermaking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learn foundational boilermaking and metalworking techniques under supervision.
• Assist fabrication, assembly and repair of boilers and related metal structures.
• Support welding operations and learn welding techniques for boilermaking.
• Measure, mark out and prepare materials for cutting and joining.
• Assist testing, inspection and quality assurance of components.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Attend and complete off-the-job training components of the apprenticeship.
• Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
