Job summary

Thornton Engineering is seeking a trade-qualified Boilermaker to join our Northern Geelong workshops. You\'ll interpret drawings, select materials, and plan fabrication sequences to meet our quality standards. Working with skilled welders, you will operate measuring tools and power tools, carry out fabrication tasks, and maintain safety with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade (Boilermaker).
• Proven MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Current and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Interpret workshop drawings to determine materials, production method and sequence of operations.
• Operate measuring and power tools to fabricate parts.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in fabrication environment.
• Collaborate with workshop team including boilermakers and welders.
