Job summary

Chermside Tavern, part of Endeavour Group, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead on-floor operations during busy lunch and dinner periods. You will collaborate with other venue leaders, mentor hospitality staff, coordinate cross‑departmental operations, and ensure a great guest experience.

This role requires hands-on supervision, physical tasks, and current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence; you'll be the face of the pub when the boss is away and drive energy and excellent

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with physical tasks (manual handling, lifting).
• Experience supervising bar, bistro or gaming room operations.
• RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and integrate with the crew on shift.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and mentor colleagues on floor operations.
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches during peak times.
• Bring energy, service, and smiles on every shift.
