Job summary

Endeavour Group operates Burleigh Heads Hotel and seeks an Assistant Manager to lead a high-volume pub floor and dining room with confidence. This role demands strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and weekend availability to navigate peak periods and a major venue renovation.

The ideal candidate will have RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence, and a proven track record supervising hospitality teams in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role requiring manual handling and physical tasks.
• RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence required per state regulations.
• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room preferred.
• Strong leadership, people skills, and ability to motivate a large crew.
• Must be available for full weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals and build rapport as the pub face when leadership is away.
• Support the Publican to run the pub smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospitality staff and ensure high service standards.
• Manage hiccups before they become issues and maintain calm under pressure.
• Bring energy, exceptional service, and smiles to every shift.
