Job summary

Capital Clinic Physiotherapy in Canberra is seeking an experienced hand therapist to join our Turner clinic, co-located with orthopaedics ACT. Your caseload includes post‑operative hand and wrist rehab, tendon and nerve repairs, fractures, and conservative upper limb conditions, with fabrication of thermoplastic orthoses.

We are a Canberra‑owned group offering structured professional development, mentoring toward Accredited Hand Therapist status, and an in‑house network.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration and established hand therapy experience.
• Confident with post-operative hand and wrist rehabilitation.
• Independent in splint fabrication.
• Willingness to support toward Accredited Hand Therapist status.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-operative hand and wrist rehabilitation.
• Fabricate and fit custom thermoplastic orthoses.
• Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons, radiology and other clinicians.
• Engage with compensable schemes and private patients.
