Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Haematology Clinical Trial Coordinator to support delivery of clinical trials across haematological conditions. You will coordinate activities from study start-up through close-out, working with investigators, research nurses, sponsors and patients to ensure studies are conducted safely, efficiently and in accordance with GCP and regulatory requirements.

The role is a temporary part-time position (8 hours per week) with AHPRA registration as an RN

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Relevant qualifications in clinical trials/data management OR demonstrated education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Venepuncture, IV drug administration &/or ECG skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day-to-day clinical trial activities and study documentation.
• Supporting patient screening, recruitment, consent, and follow-up.
• Liaising with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and laboratory services.
• Maintaining accurate clinical trial records and regulatory documentation.
• Monitoring study timelines, data quality, and protocol compliance.
• Assisting with ethics and governance submissions.
• Supporting audits, monitoring visits, and study close-out activities.
