Job summary

PCYC Bundaberg Youth Club in Queensland is seeking a passionate Gym and Fitness Instructor to deliver our broad range of fitness programs to clients of all ages. You will help improve programs, attract participants, and support junior staff while delivering excellent customer service.

Hold a Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30321) with core units SISFFIT032/SISFFIT033/SISFFIT035/SISFFIT036, plus current First Aid/CPR and AUSactive accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III SIS30321 in Fitness or equivalent AQF.
• Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033, SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
• Must hold AUSactive accreditation.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Experience in designing, delivering and evaluating fitness programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a broad range of group fitness programs.
• Attract and retain participants and support program growth.
• Assist with junior staff development and mentoring.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
• Contribute to program improvements based on feedback.

$41.84 per hour (please note that junior rates may apply)

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Gym and Fitness Instructor to join our PCYC Bundaberg Youth Club, to assist with the delivery of our fitness programs to PCYC clients. Your New Role

You will be a valuable Gym and Fitness Instructor who will develop and deliver our broad range of group fitness programs to our PCYC clients of all ages. You will be responsible for contributing towards improving our programs, attracting and retaining new participants, assisting with the development of junior staff and commit to a high level of customer service at all times. About You

• Hold a minimum Certificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice (GEL qualification is not accepted). Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033, SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
• Holds industry accreditation, preferably with AUSactive
• Instructional experience in the relevant area of practice.
• Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
