Job summary

Delaware North Australia is seeking a Guest Services Attendant for Lizard Island Resort on the Great Barrier Reef. You will warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and collaborate with resort teams to deliver a premium guest experience in a pristine tropical setting.

The role requires extensive front desk experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle guest requests promptly while maintaining knowledge of VIPs, services, and promotions.

Qualifications

• Extensive hotel/resort front office experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience using OPERA (PMS) system highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out.
• Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily VIPs, hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers.
• Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service and prioritise guest needs.
• Liaise with resort departments to ensure memorable guest experiences and highest service levels.

Delaware North Australia is hiring a Guest Services Attendant to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. Located on the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, just over an hour's flight northeast of Cairns, experience a tropical island with crystal clear waters, idyllic dive locations and powdery white beaches. What will you do?

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out
