Job summary

Rydges Hotels & Resorts in Campbelltown NSW is seeking a casual Guest Service Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage check-in/check-out, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Reservations to ensure a seamless stay.

The role requires 1+ years in a hotel front office, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple requests with professionalism. On-site work with industry perks available from Day One.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a GSA in a hotel or similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver warm, professional guest service.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in front office operations including check-in/out and handling guest accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with other hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Rydges Campbelltown, delivering warm, memorable stays from check-in to check-out.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures, including cashiering and daily transactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance and other teams to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, packages and local area knowledge to maximise service quality.
• Uphold hotel policies, WHS standards and a clean, professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Be the face of Rydges, you'll deliver warm, memorable stays from the moment guests arrive to the moment they leave. We are looking forcasual GSA’s to join the team.

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, providing warm welcomes and farewells, and promptly responding to requests, messages, and concerns.
• Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, including accurate check-in/check-out, cashiering, daily transactions, and opening/closing duties in line with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance, and other teams to ensure rooms, special requests, and guest expectations are fully met.
• Maintain accurate reservations, room rates, packages, and local area knowledge to confidently assist guests and maximise service quality.
• Uphold hotel policies, WH&S standards, training requirements, and equipment care while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years of experience as a GSA in a hotel or similar role.
• Proven ability to deliver warm, professional, and efficient guest service
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in front office operations including check-in/out and handling guest accounts.
• Ability to build strong relationships with other departments in the hotel
• The ability to deal with multiple requests at once and maintain a high level of service.
• Familiarity with reservation systems and booking procedures.
