Job summary

Rydges South Park Adelaide, part of EVT, is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to deliver a home-away-from-home experience across rooms and public areas, with pride in the detail that makes every stay memorable.

You will clean guest rooms, replenish amenities, and handle guest requests while following WH&S guidelines and working in a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Physical capability to manage the demands of the role, including standing, bending and lifting.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms and public areas to the hotel's high standards within allocated timeframes.
• Replenish guest amenities, linen and supplies, ensuring rooms are presented consistently and ready for arrival.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property promptly and accurately.
• Follow correct procedures for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment and laundry in line with WH&S guidelines.
• Respond to guest requests and special needs in a timely, friendly manner.
• Accurately update room status to keep reception informed in real time.
• Work collaboratively with the wider housekeeping team and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
