Job summary

G’day Group is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean and welcoming environment across its Australian properties. You will perform cleaning of communal areas, assist with linen and guest accommodations, and interact with guests to address cleanliness-related inquiries.

The role requires attention to detail, independence, and the ability to work a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays, with a physically demanding environment. ESG commitments guide daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role or commercial cleaning capacity.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Flexibility to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Enthusiastic with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean communal facilities, including public ablutions, ensuring high hygiene standards and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Assist with linen upkeep and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Assist with guest accommodation cleaning as required.
• Interact with guests professionally, addressing cleanliness-related enquiries.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Work with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure consistent cleanliness and service.
