Rydges Hotels & Resorts is looking for a diligent Room Attendant/Houseperson to join our housekeeping team in NSW, Newcastle area. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have prior room attendant experience, superb attention to detail, and a strong understanding of WH&S practices. This role offers full-time hours with opportunities for career growth within EVT’s hospitality network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant or Houseperson or similar position within a hotel, ideally in high-volume settings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Familiarity with hotel room attendant & housekeeping procedures and operational policies.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety (WH&S) practices and hazard reporting.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within allocated timeframes.
• Strong communication skills, with a professional approach to guest interactions.
