Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality reception environment or similar customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with computer systems and property management software (or willingness to learn).

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a warm and professional manner upon arrival and departure.
• Managing guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Processing booking reservations and amendments through the property management system.
• Answering telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately.
• Handling guest requests and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintaining accurate records of guest information and stay details.
• Providing information about local attractions, dining options, and facilities.
• Processing payments and managing the reception till.
• Ensuring the reception area is kept clean, tidy and well-stocked with information materials.
• Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
