Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa is seeking a friendly Guest Experience Attendant on a casual basis. You will support front office tasks, hospitality duties and housekeeping activities, delivering warm, professional service from check-in to check-out.

This hands-on role thrives on variety and guest interaction. You will join a guest-focused team within Minor Hotels, with rotating shifts across mornings to evenings, and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' Front Office experience is highly beneficial.
• Experience delivering high-quality service in hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Clear and effective communication across multiple channels.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/outs with warmth.
• Assist housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas.
• Provide local recommendations and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Support linen handling, room setup and presentation standards.
• Ensure rooms and areas meet brand and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to meet guest needs.
• Process payments and maintain guest records.

Job Description

Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office operations on acasualbasis.

This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
• Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
• Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
• Long term opportunity.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour
Saturday: $41.96 per hour
Sunday: $48.95 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• 1+ years' experienceacross Front Officewould be highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings. Weekends HIGHLY favourable.
