Job summary

Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa is seeking a friendly, flexible Guest Experience Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. You will support front office tasks, assist with housekeeping duties, and help ensure guests feel welcome from check‑in to check‑out.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling check‑ins/check‑outs, providing local recommendations, and maintaining rooms and public areas to brand standards. We rotate across seven days with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience across Front Office would be highly beneficial.
• Background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Availability to work across a 7‑day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings. Weekends HIGHLY favourable.

Job Description

Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office operations on acasualbasis.

This is a hands‑on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest‑facing environment. You'll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check‑in to check‑out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check‑ins/check‑outs with efficiency and warmth
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
• Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
• Process payments accurately and maintain up‑to‑date guest records

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
• Long term opportunity.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour
Saturday: $41.96 per hour
Sunday: $48.95 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• 1+ years' experienceacross Front Officewould be highly beneficial.
