Minor Hotels' Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa is seeking a friendly Guest Experience Attendant for a casual, guest-focused role. You will assist across Front Office and housekeeping, making guests feel welcome from check-in to check-out while supporting room presentation and local recommendations.

The position offers a dynamic, hands-on environment with a rotating Monday–Sunday roster and shift times between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Australia NZ work rights required and weekends are highly favorable.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience across Front Office would be highly beneficial.
• Background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across mediums, ensuring professional correspondence.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly, flexible, and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team, someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office operations on acasual basis.

This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. You'll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience, ensuring our guests feel welcome, well cared for, and delighted from check-in to check-out, while also assisting within housekeeping operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
• Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
• Provide local recommendations, handle guest requests, and respond to feedback promptly
• Support linen handling, room setup, and presentation standards
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met

Shift Details (subject to change)

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
• Long term opportunity.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

• Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour
• Saturday: $41.96 per hour
• Sunday: $48.95 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• 1+ years' experienceacross Front Officewould be highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.
• Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums, ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
• A positive, adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about creating positive guest experiences, with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and evenings. Weekends HIGHLY favourable.
