Job summary

Zambrero North Adelaide is seeking a full-time Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will assist with food preparation, manage cash and POS, train new staff, and maintain food safety while supporting the Plate 4 Plate initiative and store targets.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, a proactive attitude, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a mission-driven team focused on quality and community.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Familiar with food safety practices.
• Willing to obtain Food Safety Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure positive impressions.
• Prepare and serve food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Engage with customers about menu and Plate 4 Plate initiative.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Assist in daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with health regulations.
• Monitor and restock inventory for daily operations.
• Process transactions and operate the POS system.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in training and mentorship.
• Adhere to portion controls and track inventory usage.
