Job summary

SEQ Pipe Works Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking an Operations Manager to take ownership of daily operations, scheduling and field coordination in a hands-on leadership role. You will work with the Director to improve systems, drive profitability, manage invoicing through Xero, and build relationships with customers, property managers and commercial clients.

This role offers real responsibility and autonomy with the opportunity to grow as the business expands into pipe relining and high-rise

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, administration, coordination, management or a similar role.
• Experience in plumbing, drainage, pipe relining or trade-based business would be highly regarded, but not essential.
• Experience with Xero, job management software, quoting, sales or managing field-based teams will also be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and field scheduling.
• Coordinate jobs from enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain relationships with customers, property managers and commercial clients.
• Identify additional work and sales opportunities.
• Monitor costs and profitability.
• Support the field team and maintain accountability for performance.
