Job summary

Allied Express and VTFE, part of the Freightways Group, is seeking a commercially minded Head of People & Culture to lead the people agenda across two businesses. Reporting to the Allied Express CEO with a dotted line to Freightways’ Group Head of People & Culture, you’ll translate strategy into practical people plans and drive leadership capability, change and risk management.

Qualifications

• Senior P&C leader with Australian employee relations expertise.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to partner with executives.
• Experience leading change across multi-site organisations, preferably in transport/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Translate business priorities into practical people plans that support growth.
• Strengthen leadership capability, succession and workforce planning.
• Lead organisational change and improve core people practices.
• Mentor, develop and guide the P&C team.
• Provide confident advice on complex employee relations and people risk.
• Build a safe, engaged and accountable culture using people insights.
