Job summary

News Corp Australia is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that drive data-backed decisions and growth for the Client Partnership Division.

You will partner with business leaders to align operations with strategy, delivering sharp financial intelligence and actionable recommendations to boost long-term profitability across a diverse portfolio of brands.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar role.
CA/CPA qualified.
Strong commercial mindset with accounting competency.
Skilled in business case development and advanced financial modeling.

Responsibilities

Create, consolidate, prepare, and own the initial budget, monthly results, and quarterly forecasts across revenue and expenditures.
Partner with stakeholders to drive commercial decisions and implement process improvements.
Deliver high-quality reporting combining financial and non-financial metrics to surface market trends.
Analyze performance trends and explain variances between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
Develop recommendations to enhance portfolio budget management and drive efficiencies.
