Job summary

Coastal Advisory Australia Pty Ltd – Newcastle NSW is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and drive growth strategies. You will shape financial strategy, oversee a high-performing team, and strengthen relationships with lenders and capital partners.

You will guide forecasting, reporting, governance and strategic decisions to support organic growth and acquisitions, while building scalable financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience across financial management and governance.
• Proven leadership of finance teams and scalable reporting.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and structuring.
• Strong experience managing banking relationships and capital partners.
• CA or CPA qualification with a related degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, strengthening reporting, systems and controls.
• Oversee forecasting, cash flow, profitability and business planning.
• Lead financial due diligence, valuations and integration for acquisitions.
• Manage lender and capital partner relationships and covenant compliance.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax, audit and external adviser relationships.
