Job summary

Zenith Hotels is seeking a Group Senior HR Advisor to join on a 12-month maternity leave contract, based at the Rydalmere Head Office with regular travel to Western Sydney venues.

You’ll partner with General Managers and leaders across 9 venues to manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, development and performance, providing practical, commercially focused HR advice in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment across multiple roles and locations.
• Strong experience in employee relations, performance management and engagement.
• Ability to provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and senior leaders.
• Excellent organisation and communication with the ability to manage priorities.
• Relevant HR qualification (Cert IV, Diploma or degree).
• Hospitality or high-volume operational experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute group recruitment strategy and lead end-to-end recruitment across venues.
• Partner with General Managers on employee relations, performance and investigations.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and action plans across the group.
• Lead induction and onboarding framework to ensure a strong start for new team members.
• Support learning, development and compliance training; build team capabilities.
• Guide and support HR Administrator and prioritise workflows.
• Travel regularly to Western Sydney venues to engage with leaders and teams.

Rydalmere | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Group HR Role

We are on an exciting journey to become one of the world’s most iconic hospitality groups, led by phenomenal people.We’re looking for a Group Senior HR Advisor to join us on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

This is a genuinely hands-on Group HR role, working closely with General Managers and leaders across 9 diverse hospitality venues. You’ll have the opportunity to influence our people, culture and employee experience as part of a growing and ambitious hospitality group.

About the role

Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you’ll be a trusted HR partner to our venues across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, engagement, development and performance.

No two days will be the same. You’ll work closely with operational leaders, build strong relationships across the Group and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice in a fast paced environment.

• Execute our Group recruitment strategy and lead end to end recruitment across our venues, from workforce planning through to onboarding.
• Partner with General Managers and leaders across employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations, providing practical advice and support.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, communication and action plans that strengthen the employee experience across the Group.
• Lead and continuously improve our induction and onboarding framework to deliver a great start for new team members.
• Partner with our venues on learning, development and compliance training, helping our people build the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
• Guide and support our HR Administrator, helping to prioritise workflows while ensuring our venues receive responsive and effective HR support.
• Based at our Rydalmere Head Office, the role also includes regular travel to our Western Sydney venues, giving you the opportunity to get out into the business, build relationships with leaders and teams, and understand the operation firsthand.

About you

You’re a confident, hands on HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, building strong relationships and finding practical solutions in a fast paced environment.

• 3+ years’ experience in a generalist HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience managing high volume recruitment, with the ability to execute effective recruitment strategies across multiple roles and locations.
• Strong experience across employee relations, performance management and employee engagement.
• Confidence providing clear, practical advice to managers, General Managers and senior leaders.
• Excellent organisation, communication, problem solving and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A relevant HR qualification such as a Cert IV, Diploma or degree in HR or a related discipline.
• Experience inhospitality or another high volume operational environment will be highly regarded, but what matters most is your ability to build relationships, provide sound HR advice and make things happen.
