Job summary

Mars Recruitment is seeking a Senior Finance Manager - Group Reporting for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sydney. You will own the end-to-end consolidation process, lead US GAAP and IFRS reporting, and mentor a Senior Accountant while partnering with senior finance stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualified experience in financial reporting.
• Experience consolidating large, complex groups.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge with US GAAP exposure.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Collaborative with excellent communication to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and year-end US GAAP reporting and consolidation.
• Lead IFRS reporting and local financial statement prep.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
• Drive a best-practice control environment with auditors.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement in finance processes.
• Mentor the Senior Accountant and develop their skills.
