Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking Group Practice Manager roles across four groups in England. Each role oversees GP practices within defined locations, working full-time at 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or equivalent management experience in primary care, healthcare management, business management, or a related field.
• Significant management experience within General Practice, Primary Care, NHS, or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of NHS primary care systems, processes, structures and contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Experience of managing staff or a service including one-to-ones, appraisals and performance management.
• Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GP practices across multiple locations as specified.
• Manage and coordinate group-level operations, staff performance, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with NHS contracts and regulatory standards.

• Each role is responsible for overseeing practices in various locations as follows:
• Group 1 (Litherland, Seaforth and Netherton)
• Group 2 (Great Crosby and Thornton, Hightown)
• Group 3 (North Park, Maghull)
• Group 4 (Garston, Netherley)

Shifts

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per day).

What do I need?

• Degree level qualification or equivalent management experience in primary care, healthcare management, business management, or a related field.
• Significant management experience within General Practice, Primary Care, NHS, or healthcare settings.
• Knowledge and understanding of NHS primary care systems, processes, structures and contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory requirements.
