Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Group Payroll Manager to lead and develop the payroll team, delivering a reliable, compliant payroll service across the Group. You will provide strategic and operational leadership for end-to-end payroll delivery and collaborate with stakeholders to build a responsive payroll function.

The role focuses on governance, system improvements, data quality, and HRIS/ERP integration, while ensuring audit readiness and strong internal controls.

Formación

• Extensive experience leading payroll teams in a complex environment.
• Strong Australian payroll knowledge: Awards, Enterprise Agreements, PAYG, STP and superannuation.
• Experience leading payroll system upgrades, integrations, testing, process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Sound understanding of payroll governance, controls and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all business levels.
• Qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with at least five years of payroll management experience.
• Global mobility and international payroll processing experience will be highly regarded.

Byrnecut is seeking an experienced Group Payroll Manager to lead and develop our payroll team while delivering a reliable, compliant and service focused payroll experience across the Group.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Finance and Shared Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across end to end payroll delivery. You will strengthen governance, improve systems and processes, whilst working closely with stakeholders and the team to build a more responsive, connected payroll service.

In this role, you will:

About you

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing payroll teams in a complex environment
• Strong Australian payroll knowledge, including Awards, Enterprise Agreements, PAYG, Single Touch Payroll and superannuation
• Experience leading payroll system upgrades, integrations, testing, process improvement or transformation initiatives
• A sound understanding of payroll governance, compliance, controls and risk management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, with at least five years of payroll management experience
• Global mobility and international payroll processing experience will be highly regarded
