Job summary

Centurion Asia Pacific Rentals & Services is seeking an experienced Group HR Generalist to support multiple entities across WA and beyond. This hands-on role covers employee relations, performance, remuneration, workforce capability and change initiatives.

You will partner with GMs and leaders to provide practical HR guidance, ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, NES and modern awards, and assist with recruitment, onboarding and salary reviews.

Qualifications

• Broad HR generalist experience across operations and strategy.
• Strong ER/IR capabilities, investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Exposure to enterprise agreement consultation and negotiation.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment law, awards and conditions.
• Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable with senior leaders.
• Strong influencing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience across multiple business units and locations.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Group HR Generalist is an experienced, pragmatic and commercially focused HR practitioner operating across strategic people priorities and day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on autonomous role servicing multiple entities.

The role partners with GMs and leaders across the Group to provide practical HR advice and hands-on support across employee relations, performance, remuneration, workforce capability, organisational change and business integration.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage and advise on employee and industrial relations, including performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and workplace issues.
• Provide advice on the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts.
• Support enterprise agreement consultation and negotiation processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce movements and employee lifecycle activities.
• Undertake remuneration benchmarking and support salary reviews and remuneration decisions.
• Support the Centurion Collective, through benchmarking and participation for diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Support business integrations, restructures and organisational change, including people transition and employee communications.
• Work with Learning & Development on workforce capability, career development and leadership development.
• Identify people risks and provide practical solutions that support business performance and compliance.
• Contribute to Group HR policies, projects, systems and continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria

• Experienced HR Generalist with broad operational and strategic HR experience.
• Strong ER/IR capability, including investigations, performance and disciplinary matters.
• Exposure to enterprise agreement consultation and negotiation.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and employment conditions.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working with senior leaders.
• Strong influencing, communication, judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating across multiple businesses, locations and workforce groups.
• Tertiary qualification in HR, IR, Business or related discipline desirable.
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights (essential)

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and provide a National Police Clearance.
